Banquet Overview
The Keepers of the Quaich were delighted to host the 68th Keepers of the Quaich Autumn 2024 Banquet on the 7th Oct 2024 at Blair Castle, the ancient home of the Earls and Dukes of Atholl, and the spiritual home of the Keepers of the Quaich.
The Grand Master the Duke of Argyll presided over the Ceremony and Banquet.
The top table hosted the Chair Ian Smith and his wife Caroline. Also in attendance were the Duchess of Argyll, the Marquess of Lorne, Lord Rory Campbell, the Duke and Duchess of Fife, the Earl of Erroll, the Earl and Countess of Hopetoun, the Earl and Countess of Moray, Viscount and Viscountess Thurso, Sarah and Jamie Troughton, the Lord and Lady Bruce and Penny Lancaster.
We were delighted to be joined by Sir Rod Stewart CBE, who was awareded the role of Honorary Keeper of the Quaich.
At the 68th Ceremony of Induction there was five new Masters and 47 Keepers of the Quaich from 16 countries around the world, amassing years of experience amongst them. Masters are those who, since being inducted as a Keeper over ten years ago, have made an exceptional contribution to the Scotch Whisky industry.
We hope you enjoyed the formalities, celebrations and some of the finest whiskies, food, music and traditions Scotland has to offer.
