No 10: Glenmorangie Distillery

The Management Committee are delighted to announce the tenth in our exclusive collection of Keepers of the Quaich unique Scotch Whisky bottlings. This bottling will only be sold via the Royal Mile Whiskies website.

This bottling has been chosen from a small selection of handpicked cask samples by Dr Bill Lumsden MBE, Director of Distilling, Whisky Creation & Whisky Stocks at The Glenmorangie Company Limited. Dr Bill has selected this cask from The Glenmorangie Distillery. The spirit was filled into a first fill bourbon barrel on the 25th January 2005 and bottled on the 20th July 2026 making it 21 years old.

The spirit has not been chill filtered and was bottled at 54.9%. The outturn of the cask yielded 215 bottles so Keepers will be limited to two bottles each.

Glenmorangie 2005

Dr Bill Lumsden MBE provided the bottle tasting notes:

Colour: A beautiful Scottish sunset.

Nose: Fresh, perfumed and elegant, with a burst of fruity complexity. Orange blossom honey and vanilla.

Palate: Soft, creamy and mellow with hints of apple, pear, honeycomb, mandarin orange and butter candy.

Finish: Lingering and gentle, with soft oaky notes of almond and coconut.

How to Order

This bottling will be available for sale from 10:00 GMT on 15th October 2026 via the Royal Mile Whiskies website at £200 (including UK VAT), on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that you will need your roll number to purchase the bottle. The Society politely requests that bottles are not resold.
